Today's Grace

*And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9* All this morning my heart has been hurting and I have been praying for answers and just wondering WHY? Why do people that are a church body treat each other so badly at times? Do they even know really the pain the cause others? Do they really care? Seems sometimes like it is lip service. They only really like others like them and the rest of the world is closed off. Is that really how God intended it to be? No doubt we shouldn't backslide in our walk, but how is anyone else to grow if we don't take time to minister to others, to reach out, to touch another's heart and forever change them? I myself have prayed that God will use me mightly this year. In spite of others. At times He will have to help me, because there is that wall there, of not wanting to be hurt any more. But quite possibly it will be the best journey yet. I know that I will get to see others grow, but I am most excited to grow myself. In ways only He can grow me! Won't you join in this walk with me? Reach out, be there for people, EVERYONE!

2012 WIPocalypse

Here are the rules for the 2012 Wipocalypse: 1) To sign up, leave a comment on this post with your blog address. International bloggers are welcome. 2) Sometime shortly before the start of 2012, make a list of the projects you will be focusing on. Add to and adjust this list throughout the year as you desire. There are no restrictions regarding new starts for this SAL. If you feel the desire to start a piece in 2012, add it to your list! 3) On each full moon (or thereabouts), post your progress photos to your site – even if your progress was slower than you hoped. Label that post with “WIPocalypse” to make it easy for me to find. 4) Once you’ve posted, come over to my blog and find my full moon post, and comment that you’ve updated. I will create a check-in list of URLs each month for easy blog surfing so fellow participants and readers can cheer you on. Why is it important to post each month even if you’ve made little progress? You’ll earn one chance, per status post, for a giveaway drawing to be done on New Year’s Day, 2013! I don’t want to discourage folks who may have issues that prevent them from posting for a month and force them to give up entirely on the SAL, but I also want to reward those who do check in every month. What will be in the drawing? Honestly, I’m not sure yet! That will be determined throughout 2012 as I add to the box during my trips to my local LNS. WI P Wednesday

Good blessed morning! Today is WIP Wednesday. So come on, share with everyone what you are working on! I am working on Snow Jumble by SMO. I love the colors and the way it is turning out! It has been a really fun stitch so far. My plan was to stitch something snowy, and it would snow. So far, no go though! Well I finished this cute little piece the other day using yellow 18 ct aida from Sassy -- It is Speckled Eek from SMO.. Isn't it the cutest? Really fun stitch. First post!

Well I have thought a LOT about starting a blog with my thoughts and journey -- And then time flies by and here we are. So I thought what better way to kick it off than when the I John study started. If you haven't heard about this study please check it out at www.goodmorninggirls.com -- You will be blessed immensely during this study! It is amazing to study His word this deep. Writing each verse out really makes you examine them closely and also with a group it is just amazing! There are no words how great it feels. That is my post today. Romans 5:17 - For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
