2013 is going to be my year!

This is going to be my year! I just know it. Going to post more about my stitching, sharing all I do so I can inspire myself and others. Already have the first ornament from the SMO 12 days of Christmas done. So here he is: So I look forward to looking at others' works and enjoying our wonderful hobby!!

WIP Wednesday!

It's Wednesday! What are you working on? I am almost done with the cat alphabet sampler. Here it is, only the one corner left! Don't you just love the colors on this fat adorable cat? I JUST finished this birdhouse, I love the colors in it! Tomorrow, I hope to share a finish of it! (Or soon anyway!) I have been working on the Cats, Mice & Friends Alphabet from the June 2012 CCS mag. I adore the colors! So much fun! Cold here in the Pacific NW. Rainy and blah. Perfect afternoon to stitch and watch movies! Enjoy your day!

Today's Grace

*And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9* All this morning my heart has been hurting and I have been praying for answers and just wondering WHY? Why do people that are a church body treat each other so badly at times? Do they even know really the pain the cause others? Do they really care? Seems sometimes like it is lip service. They only really like others like them and the rest of the world is closed off. Is that really how God intended it to be? No doubt we shouldn't backslide in our walk, but how is anyone else to grow if we don't take time to minister to others, to reach out, to touch another's heart and forever change them? I myself have prayed that God will use me mightly this year. In spite of others. At times He will have to help me, because there is that wall there, of not wanting to be hurt any more. But quite possibly it will be the best journey yet. I know that I will get to see others grow, but I am most excited to grow myself. In ways only He can grow me! Won't you join in this walk with me? Reach out, be there for people, EVERYONE!

2012 WIPocalypse

Here are the rules for the 2012 Wipocalypse: 1) To sign up, leave a comment on this post with your blog address. International bloggers are welcome. 2) Sometime shortly before the start of 2012, make a list of the projects you will be focusing on. Add to and adjust this list throughout the year as you desire. There are no restrictions regarding new starts for this SAL. If you feel the desire to start a piece in 2012, add it to your list! 3) On each full moon (or thereabouts), post your progress photos to your site – even if your progress was slower than you hoped. WI P Wednesday

Good blessed morning! Today is WIP Wednesday. So come on, share with everyone what you are working on! I am working on Snow Jumble by SMO. I love the colors and the way it is turning out! It has been a really fun stitch so far. My plan was to stitch something snowy, and it would snow. So far, no go though! Since my last post, I have stitched all of these: I hope everyone has a wonderful stitchy day! * Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding, for the gain from her is better than gain from silver and her profit better than gold.* Proverbs 3:13-14
